Bashar Jackson, who was also called Pop Smoke, his screen name Pop Smoke (July 20th 1999-February 19th of 2020) was an American songwriter and rapper. Victor Victor Worldwide, Republic Records and Bashar Barakah were his record labels. Pop Smoke became famous due to his Brooklyn drill sound after working in collaboration with UK drill producers 808Melo Axl Beats, Yoz Beatz and 808Melo Axl Beats. Welcome to the Party was the single that he released from his debut mixtape Meet the Woo, which came out on July 19, 2019 in April of 2019. Two remixes were made of the track Welcome to the Party in August 2019 with American hip-hop artist Nicki Minaj as well as British rapper Skepta. Pop Smoke debuted his first mixtape Meet the Woo in 2019. In April Pop Smoke debuted the single Welcome to the Party, the single that became his breakout track. It was later remixed two times one featuring Nicki Minaj and the other with Skepta in August 2019. The track was noted as having song used UK drill music that could later be found in the entirety of his discography. The reason for this was the regular collaborations with British drill producer 808Melo. Mpr Flexin, Dior and other songs are also well popular. After the popularity with Welcome to the Party Welcome to the Party, the artist collaborated with other popular musicians to make singles such as War together with Lil Tjay or 100k on the Coupe which featured Calboy. Gatti, the final track on the JackBoys album (2019), by Scott and Cactus Jack's band members as well as JackBoys was released in the month of December 2019.
